PRACTICE
Attorney Taylor joined the firm as a principal in 2000 after working for a large litigation firm handling insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, insurance defense and appellate matters. He continues to grow his appellate, insurance coverage and defense practices. He has lectured and written on both appellate and insurance matters and taught moot court as an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut School of Law.
He is active in the Connecticut Bar Association. He served as Secretary and a member of the Executive Committee of the Association’s Insurance Law Section and has been a member of the Appellate Law Section. Attorney Taylor is a Chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the American Counsel Association, a member of the American Bar Association's Council of Appellate Lawyers and has served on both the Insurance Law Committee and Appellate Advocacy Committee of the Defense Research Institute.
In August, 2009, Attorney Taylor co-authoredThe Encyclopedia of Connecticut Causes of Action with Attorney Daniel Krisch. He is currently co-authoring Insurance Coverage Law in Connecticut with Attorneys Karen Dowd and Brendon Levesque.
He is also involved in the firm’s legal publishing projects and contributes annually to Connecticut Practice Book Annotated, Vol. 1 by Wesley W. Horton and Kimberly A. Knox.
