Attorney Krisch joined the firm as an associate in 2000 after clerking
on the Connecticut Supreme Court for former Chief Justice Ellen
A. Peters. He is actively pursuing an appellate practice, arguing
in both the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts. Attorney Krisch
is also building his trial practice, with cases in state and federal
court. In addition to extensive Bar Association activities, which
include serving as Chair of the CBA’s Young Lawyer’s
Section, Dan is also an elected member of the American Law Institute.
Attorney Krisch authors a monthly column in the Connecticut Lawyer as YLC Chair.
In April 2008, in Pelletier v. Sordoni/Skanska Constr Co., 286 Conn. 563 (2008), Attorney Krisch, argued on behalf of the case, the defendant along with his partner, Kimberly Knox. See case studies for more information.
In 2002, he received statewide recognition as the "Rookie of the
Year," an award given by the Connecticut Law Tribune to young lawyers
demonstrating exemplary skills and dedication to the law. In January
of 2004, Attorney Krisch became a principal in the firm.
Attorney Krisch is also actively involved in legal education. He
has served as a faculty member for the CBA Appellate Advocacy Institute
and taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut
School of Law.
