| Daniel J. Krisch has become a partner of the firm as of January
1, 2004. Dan’s practice concentrates on civil and criminal
appeals, as well as civil litigation and products liability.
Dan is currently a Co-Chair of the Connecticut Bar Association
Young Lawyers Section Appellate Practice Committee and a member
of the CBA’s House of Delegates.
Partners Wesley Horton and Kimberly Knox will be the Co-Chairs
for the first ever Connecticut Appellate Advocacy Institute,
to be held at the CBA Law Center from April 25-27. The Institute
is sponsored by the Connecticut Bar Association. In addition,
partners Kenneth Bartschi and Daniel Krisch will serve as
faculty at the Institute.
Partners Karen Dowd and Michael Taylor served as faculty
for the Connecticut Trial Advocacy Institute, held at the
Quinnipiac Law School from March 7-10. The Institute is co-sponsored
by the Connecticut Bar Association’s Litigation Section
and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
Kenneth Bartschi will moderate a panel on the legal rights
and responsibilities attendant with marriage as a part of
a symposium on equal marriage rights for same-sex couples.
The symposium, which is co-sponsored by the Connecticut Bar
Association’s Human Rights and Responsibilities Section
and Unity, a student group at Quinnipiac Law School, will
be held at Quinnipiac Law School on March 26, 2004.
