Established in 1976 Horton Shields and Knox provides experience and enthusiasm in their representation in the trial and appellate arenas in Connecticut. The members of the firm have been involved in hundreds of cases in the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts. They handle trial matters and consult with trial lawyers on legal issues, in a number of areas including medical malpractice and family.

Over the years, Horton, Shields and Knox has participated in numerous legal seminars as well as academic publishing pertaining to the law. Members of the firm annually annotate the Connecticut Rules of Appellate Procedure and the Connecticut Practice book.

Called on by our colleagues in the legal profession when they need representation, we also represent attorney-respondents at all levels of the professional grievance process in Connecticut.
